As a break from regular work I modeled and rendered out these stylus compositions. Moi3D is very well suited for this. Mighty handy nurbs modeling tool it is. In a jiffy it also converts NURBS models into polygons for further us in other apps and rendering. Nice!
This MOI > C4D > render workflow has become somewhat standard in the studio when it comes to hard surface modeling. Rendering was done in Maxwell this time, one of my most favourite render engines. Guess that is not a secret ;-)
Shaders for Maxwell were done in cinema 4D. Once again Maxwell Fire comes foreward as a very valuable tool.
